Courses at the GCU Traditional Campus – Phoenix, AZ will be in‑person and on‑campus for the Fall 2026 Semester (09/08/2026 - 12/18/2026).
Course: Renewable Energy & Lab – The course provides students with a strong foundation in core areas of renewable energy. Students learn the main sources of renewable energy and their enabling role in power systems, the positive environmental impact of renewable energy, and in‑depth coverage of concentrated solar power, photovoltaic, and wind energy. The integration of renewable energy sources into the consumer’s network is detailed, and the course also demonstrates applications of power electronics.
Responsibilities- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
- Preferred:
Doctorate in Electrical Engineering - Minimum:
Master’s in Electrical Engineering with relevant industry experience
