• Courses are in‑person and on‑campus for the Fall 2026 Semester (09/08/2026 - 12/13/2026)

This course introduces standard mechanical tests and computer‑based data acquisition techniques, such as installing thermocouples, strain gauges, and positioning probes. ASME and ASTM test codes are studied, as are OSHA standards. The course examines how various physical property and system performance tests are set up, conducted, and analyzed.

Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline and mechanical instrumentation experience.

Master’s degree in any above discipline.
