Position Overview
Grand Canyon University (GCU) seeks a full‑time faculty member for the new Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MS‑OT) program. The role involves collaboration with the program lead and university departments to design and deliver courses that meet accreditation standards and integrate innovative teaching methodologies and technologies.
Responsibilities- Develop and teach graduate and undergraduate courses in occupational therapy.
- Advising students and supervising hands‑on learning and simulation activities.
- Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback on examinations and assignments.
- Participate in program activities that support development and accreditation.
- Maintain a full‑time course load (80‑100 students) as defined by the university.
- Master’s degree in occupational therapy.
- Minimum of three years clinical experience as an occupational therapist.
- University teaching experience preferred.
- Expertise in functional anatomy and physiology, neuro and physiologic rehabilitation, or adult and geriatric practice encouraged.
- Experience with accreditation processes preferred.
- Active, current, unrestricted OT license and eligibility for Arizona state licensure.
- Evidence of professional engagement (membership, presentations, research, or publications).
GCU Main Campus – Phoenix, AZ. 12‑month, full‑time position.
