Graduate Counseling Faculty – Phoenix, Arizona

The University of Mary invites applications for a full‑time, 11‑month faculty position at its Photina Center for Catholic Counseling in Phoenix, Arizona. The role includes both in‑person and online teaching, advising responsibilities within the Graduate Counseling Program, and collaboration with faculty to support programmatic planning and ensure alignment with CACREP accreditation standards. Preferred start date is May 2026. Faculty members are expected to support and advance the Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine mission and identity of the University of Mary.

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Clinical Psychology
• Upholds and supports the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary
• Supports the ongoing implementation of Ex Corde Ecclesiae, the apostolic constitution on Catholic colleges and universities
• Builds a culture of ready and earnest hospitality in the Liffrig Family School of Education and Behavioral Sciences and throughout the university, in accord with Saint Benedict’s admonition that all be received as Christ

• Ph.D. in Counselor Education & Supervision from a CACREP Accredited Institution
• Experience in teaching online
• Ability to teach coursework for the Catholic Anthropology for Counselors Graduate Certificate
