Seeking a dependable, patient, and engaging homeschool tutor for my bright 8‑year‑old son, Monday‑Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. All lessons and curriculum are planned. He is working through a 3rd‑grade curriculum and needs support staying on task, understanding new concepts, reading comprehension, writing, and math word problems. The ideal tutor is calm, consistent, able to build rapport, and balances encouragement with clear expectations and accountability.
Teaching, tutoring, or special education experience is preferred. Pay: $25–$28/hour, based on experience. Optional morning habilitation hours (6:30–9:00 a.m.) are also available at $21/hour for those interested in additional hours.
