The Special Education Teacher provides individualized instruction and support to middle and high school students with diverse learning needs. This role ensures students can access curriculum, meet IEP goals, and develop the academic and social skills needed for success.

Responsibilities- Provide specialized instruction aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Active or eligible Arizona Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with middle and/or high school students with special needs preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development, instructional strategies, and special education laws
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and meet diverse student needs
