Job Summary
Provide online Georgia Secondary Science instruction for high school students at Georgia Digital School (GDS), a Stride K12 partner. Responsibilities include delivering synchronous and asynchronous lessons, monitoring progress, and maintaining strong communication with students, parents, and learning coaches.
Salary and Start DateEstimated annual base salary: $50,000 (non‑negotiable) with eligibility for a performance bonus.

July 13, 2026.
- Deliver engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences.
- Personalize learning for all students and differentiate instruction based on mastery.
- Augment course content using prescribed policies and appropriate tools under guidance from principal and coach.
- Maintain grade book, ensure academic integrity, make placement/promotion decisions, and alert administrators of concerns.
- Prepare students for high‑stakes standardized tests.
- Establish and maintain positive rapport with families; communicate regularly and respond in a timely manner.
- Support learning coaches/parents with curricular and instructional issues, including basic troubleshooting.
- Travel as required (average once per month, approximately 20% of time) for professional development, testing, and school functions.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Active Georgia state teaching license.
- Successful completion of a required background check.
- Experience working with the proposed age group.
- Experience supporting adults and children in using technology.
- Experience teaching online or in a hybrid environment.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms.
- Ability to collaborate with other teachers to interpret and use student data for instructional decisions.
- Receptive to regular coaching and feedback from administrators and trainers.
- Adaptability to change and commitment to improving student outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and faculty platforms.
- Maintain teacher certification, professional development hours, and fluency in K12 systems.
