Overview
We are seeking a reliable, patient Caregiver/Mentor to help teach life skills, social skills, communication, and independence for our 8-year-old son who has autism. He is verbal, social, bright, funny, creative, and full of energy. We are a Christian family looking for someone dependable, organized, a quick learner, and willing to commit for at least one year. A reliable vehicle is required for morning school drop-off.
Responsibilities- Support development of life skills, social skills, communication, and independence in a child with autism.
- Assist with daily routines and school drop-off (morning).
- Model positive behavior and provide patient, structured guidance.
- Maintain consistency, safety, and a supportive home environment.
Monday–Friday, 6:45–8:45/9:00 a.m., and every other Sunday, 2:00–8:00 p.m.
Requirements- Experience with autism or special needs.
- Own vehicle and reliable transportation.
Strong reliability, organization, ability to learn quickly, and willingness to commit for at least one year. The role may align with backgrounds in education, SPED, speech, OT, PT, psychology, or ABA.
