Special Education Teacher, Online Teaching, High School
Felix Commonwealth Virtual School is a free, Massachusetts public virtual school dedicated to personalized, mastery-based learning. Through individualized learning plans, mentorship, and high-quality digital curriculum, the school supports students in developing both academic mastery and the skills needed for lifelong learning.
In partnership with ASU Preparatory Global Academy, Felix Commonwealth Virtual School seeks innovative and student-centered educators to serve as Guides (Teachers) in a personalized, mastery-based learning environment. The school’s instructional model draws on practices used by Arizona State University’s Khan World School and combines high-quality digital curriculum, individualized learning plans, and strong mentorship relationships. Guides play a dual role:

- Subject-area instructional resource, providing academic instruction, tutoring, and expertise to students across the school within the Guide’s area of certification or specialization.
Guides foster student agency, support mastery-based learning, and help students develop the skills needed for success in both virtual and in-person learning environments.
