• Internal Candidates Only
• New York State Certification in School Counseling

• Knowledge of the NYS assessments, curriculum and graduation requirements
• Ability to establish a rapport with students with diverse needs
• Effective or Highly Effective as defined by the District Annual Professional Performance Review
• Demonstrate flexibility in response to students who require alternate strategies

• Plan student summer course programming in preparation for State Assessments / NYS Regents exams and course completion.
• Provide counseling support to students as needed.
• Engage with instructional team to identify what students need to accomplish classes, NYS Assessments while supporting mental health needs.
