8th Grade Science Teacher | NSY | Full Time Job Description

EDU-AIDs is looking for a dedicated 8th Grade Science Teacher to join a supportive school team in Phoenix, Arizona.

As an 8th Grade Science Teacher, you will create an engaging, student-centered classroom where middle school students develop scientific knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. You will foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and academic success.

• Deliver engaging and standards-based science instruction to 8th-grade students in a self-contained classroom
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Arizona state standards
• Assess student progress and use data to guide instruction and support individual learning needs
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth
• Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families to support student achievement
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and classroom documentation
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and other school activities
• Work full-time, on-site in Phoenix, AZ

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or a related field
• Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate with appropriate certification for Middle School Science
• Minimum 1 year of classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and instructional skills
• Passion for helping middle school students succeed academically and personally
