Description: The Certified Teacher creates a positive learning environment to facilitate the academic, personal, social, and intellectual development of each student. The teacher presents appropriate curriculum aligned with federal, state, and district goals and objectives using a variety of instructional methods and strategies to support learning. The teacher maintains high expectations for self and all students and encourages them to become lifelong learners.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited four‑year college or university
• Valid Arizona Teacher’s Certificate
• Valid Arizona Teaching Endorsement(s) in the subject area(s) to be taught
• Compliance with Arizona State law regarding grade‑level or subject‑area standards
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Capability to develop effective instructional programs
• Strong knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, oral communication, spelling, punctuation, and grammar
• Knowledge of Spanish (reading, writing, oral communication) is desired
