School Nurse

• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.
• Observe, record, and report to the school nurse the condition of the student, including signs and symptoms that may be indicative of a change in the patient's condition.
• Provide emotional and physical comfort of the student.
• Assist in the care of the student in accordance with the student's care plan.
• Assist as needed with other students in the program.
• Other job‑related duties as assigned.

• Previous experience working with severely handicapped children.
• Effective communication skills.

High School Diploma or GED.

Possession of a current license to practice as a licensed practical nurse.

Not specified.

• Criminal Background Clearance.
• Valid Arizona DPS Level I IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
