Instruction for our Fall Semester begins on September 8, 2026, and ends on December 20, 2026 – Final Course Grades are due on December 27, 2026

Courses:
English Composition IThis is a writing-intensive course in writing academic prose, including various types of essays, arguments, and constructions.

What You Will Do:

Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions

Engage students in learning course objectives and topics

Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom

Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University What You Will Bring:

Preferred:
PhD in English OR Composition ORWriting OR Professional Writing OR Rhetoric

Minimum:
Master’s in the above areas

Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Master’s in any field AND 18-graduate credits in English AND substantial teaching experience
