Photography and Video for Social Media
This course builds technical knowledge and skills for creating and publishing photographic and video‑based content for social media channels. Students learn how to create compelling visual stories for their brands using social media channels.
What You Will Do- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies.
- Engage students in cutting‑edge technologies and industry trends.
- Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Photography, Video, Advertising, Graphic Design, Journalism, Multi‑media Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Experience in the design, creation, and production of written, visual, photographic and video content for social media distribution.
- Knowledge of the Adobe digital products for desktop and phone apps.
- Minimum 3 years applicable industry experience.
