Fundamentals of Accounting:
In this course, students examine basic accounting concepts and explore how accounting information assists business leaders in making financial decisions that increase profitability and contribute to competitive advantage. There is specific emphasis on the analysis of financial statements in the business decision-making process, budgeting, and factors businesses must consider when determining appropriate pricing of goods and services.

Term:
Spring 2027 (01/04/27 – 04/25/2027)
- Facilitate classroom instruction and discussions
- Engage students in achieving course learning outcomes
- Assess student performance and provide feedback
- Incorporate current industry knowledge and best practices into teaching
- Support the mission and values of Grand Canyon University
- Masters in Accounting (MSA) or Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
- 3 years accounting experience or 5 years business experience with accounting responsibilities
- PhD/DBA in accounting or other business related discipline.
