Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (appropriate for Arizona)
• Prior experience working with students in resource and/or self-contained settings
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to collaborate with general education staff, families, and support personnel
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective, individualized instruction to students with a range of learning needs
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods based on students’ IEP goals
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging classroom atmosphere focused on growth and student achievement
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best supports for each student
• Monitor progress, document data, and communicate regularly with families and school staff
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Special Education programming within the school
