Job Title

Based on skills and experience.
Provide quality instruction to students
Prepare daily lesson plans
Evaluate student's skills to determine the best program of learning
Write and implement Individual Education Plans (IEP)
All other duties as assigned
Familiarity with Arizona Academic Standards
Knowledge of current educational and diagnostic practices related to sensory impairments
Experience in lesson plan and Individual Education Plan development
Proficiency in student evaluation practices
Understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and programs
Knowledge of principles and practices of administration and management
Familiarity with agency or program rules, regulations, and operating procedures
Skills in behavior management
Planning and organization in program development
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and the public
Instruct students to retain information
Complete student evaluations
Develop lesson plans
Work cooperatively in teams
Bachelor's Degree in Education with coursework specific to sensory impairments
Open to entry-level candidates
Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement for each position
Secondary teaching positions must possess the necessary coursework as required by the Department of Education
Must be able to pass FBI and State background check
Travel is required to all locations and districts in surrounding areas
