We are hiring a long-term substitute teacher for Elementary that will teach from approximately February – April 2027.

A Long-Term Substitute Teacher takes over a classroom for a prolonged period of time when a regular teacher is absent, ensuring that students have a fulfilling learning experience. This position may include teaching a combination of grade level appropriate subjects:
Bible, Language Arts, Reading, Math, Science, and History. Their duties include completing all responsibilities in the teacher’s absence, including grading, parent communication, events, conferences, emails, duties and prep work. The ideal candidate will have substitute-teaching experience and an ability to lead classrooms effectively.

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES
:

• Education & Certification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or a related field from an accredited college is required;
    Master’s Degree preferred.
  • State teaching certification and ACSI certification preferred.
• Experience
  • Training in Elementary Education and best practices in teaching is preferred.
