GCU Traditional Campus - Phoenix, AZ:
Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Spring 2027 Semester (01/04/2027 - 04/23/2027).

This laboratory course covers modern biochemical laboratory techniques and their theoretical foundations.

Topics include methods for protein, nucleic acid, and lipid isolation and characterization; enzyme assays; chromatography; electrophoresis; and representing and manipulating proteins and nucleic acids.

Experiments are designed for hand-on experimentation and students acquire practical techniques currently used in biochemistry laboratories.

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

• Preferred:
  Master's or Doctorate in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a Biological Science with emphasis in Biochemistry
• Minimum:
  Master's in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a Biological Science with emphasis in Biochemistry

• Your unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in the areas listed above
• Your unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees
