High School Special Education Teacher

Help students build the academic, social, and life skills they need to succeed after graduation! Cross Country Education is seeking passionate Special Education Teachers to support high school students across diverse learning environments in Phoenix, AZ, during the  school year.

• Design and deliver individualized, evidence-based instruction that connects academic learning to real-world skills and postsecondary success.
• Monitor progress using formal/informal evaluations and maintain accurate documentation for IEP implementation and state compliance.
• Partner with families, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Maintain a structured, positive classroom that promotes student engagement and emotional safety.

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field;
  Master’s degree preferred
• Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification
• Valid Arizona IVPFingerprint Clearance Card
• Knowledge of the Essential Elements of Effective Instruction (EEEI) preferred

• Competitive Pay:
  Earn $48.80 - $49.80
  per hour
