Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing instructional support to students under the direct supervision of a highly qualified teacher.
- Assisting in collecting and compiling student scores and records in the Title I program.
- Helping plan lessons and activities for smaller groups or individuals as directed by the teacher.
- Tutoring and assisting students individually or in small groups to help them master reading and math concepts and reinforce learning.
- Discussing assigned duties with classroom teachers to coordinate instructional efforts.
- Observing students' performance and recording relevant data to assess progress.
- Assisting teachers in administering i-Ready progress monitoring.
- Performing other duties related to the general job function as assigned by the supervisor.
- Maintaining a safe, risk-free working and learning environment by prioritizing student well-being, establishing cooperative relationships, reporting concerns such as substance use or child abuse, and following district policies.
- Operating and caring for school district equipment properly.
- Participating in in-services, workshops, or conferences as directed to enhance job performance.
- Responding promptly and courteously to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintaining responsible, reliable, and punctual behavior.
- Exercising positive problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.
- Participating constructively in students' daily school experience.

- Salary Range: 21
- 9-month classified employment term
