Resource Innovations is seeking an Outreach Lead to join our growing team in Chandler, Arizona. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Outreach Lead with a strong background in commercial lighting, HVAC, and building mechanical systems to join our dynamic team. As an Outreach Lead you will help recruit, onboard, train and maintain relationships with qualified service providers including installation contractors and engineering/controls vendors.

You will participate in program events and support other program marketing and outreach initiatives.

The ideal candidate possesses the right mix of leadership, sales skills, technical ability, program expertise, and interpersonal skills to succeed in this position. In this role, you will provide support for an existing outreach team supporting energy efficiency programs for commercial customers to promote the program, engage qualified service providers, drive participation, and maximize energy savings to achieve program goals. In addition to providing guidance and support to the outreach team, this role will look for opportunities to balance workload and identify underrepresented areas or customer segments.

Note:
This is a full-time, W-2 employee position with Resource Innovations. The role supports a program currently expected to conclude in April 2027. Continued employment after the program ends is not guaranteed, though the employee may be considered for other available positions based on business needs and qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides education and technical assistance to lighting, HVAC, mechanical, controls, and engineering vendors to encourage participation in utility sponsored energy efficiency incentive programs.
  • Communicates key objectives, strategies, and priorities to a variety of stakeholders and contributors (program management, software, outreach, data analysis, customer service, and partner teams).
  • Develops, manages, and fosters partnerships and relationships with local organizations, associations, subcontractors, community groups, and other industry affiliates/stakeholders that serve our key client populations.
  • Provides excellent customer service to clients, end-use utility customers, vendors, delivery team members, and industry partners.
  • Represent Utility and program at local events.
  • Project specific outreach. To find projects that will complete this year and support the contractor or customer in getting it into our pipeline.
  • Industry outreach as guided by the Outreach Team. Meaning contacting trade allies, both inside our network and outside, to identify projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must be located in the greater Phoenix, Arizona area
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience with energy-efficiency
  • Local travel within the Greater Phoenix area is expected, averaging approximately 25% of the role. Candidates can generally expect to travel locally approximately once per week, or about 4–7 times per month, depending on program needs.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, planning, budgeting, and people-management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
