your exciting role
We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate highly complex electro‑mechanical system initiatives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong engineering background and proven project‑management skills. You will collaborate closely with Business Development, Design Engineering, Operations, and external partners to ensure seamless, safe, and efficient delivery of strategic engineering projects from concept through commissioning.

- Oversee maintenance strategies, continuous improvement initiatives, and long‑term planning for plant equipment and systems.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring project deliverables exceed client expectations.
- Review and close gaps in engineering documentation packages; organize technical data to support quoting and launch activities.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, budgets, risk registers, resource allocations, and key deliverables.
- Provide ongoing support to Operations and Engineering, swiftly troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring full compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards.
- Schedule and execute corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance tasks; lead root‑cause analyses and implement robust corrective actions.
- Identify and engage best‑in‑class supply‑chain partners; lead materials and procurement teams through cost‑effective quoting activities.
- Lead, mentor, and empower a diverse team of maintenance technicians, project engineers, and technical specialists.
- Perform other duties as assigned to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Standing and walking are a necessary part of the job.
- Occasionally lifting (up to 50 lbs. unassisted).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field of study a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Global Shop ERP system a plus.
The work environment characteristics include periodic noise increases when in the Manufacturing facility, although the office environment is usually quiet and respectful. Safety glasses and other required safety protection should be worn when out in the manufacturing facility, which may vary depending on the area you are working/visiting.
