Job Type: Hybrid, Onsite, Remote

Stanley Consultants is currently looking for a Principal Transmission Engineer.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Developing EHV transmission line design parameters, up to and including 345kV.
  • Proficiency with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE and SAG
    10.
  • Providing leadership to project teams.
  • Training and mentoring junior staff.
  • Providing technical design and project review.
  • Developing transmission standards and specifications.
  • Preparing transmission studies and reports.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Micro‑station.
  • Solid communication and coordination skills with graphics and engineering.
  • Support business development.
  • Oversee financial performance including budget control of project assignments.
  • Must be able to work legally in the United States for any length of time without sponsorship.
Preferred education, skills and experience:
  • Professional Engineering License Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with EHV including 500 kV
  • EHV underground experience

$136,100 – $181,025 a year (Salary range for CO, IL, and MN locations). Stanley Consultants is committed to maintaining transparency in our hiring process, including providing information about compensation. The starting salary for the successful candidate in this position is competitive and will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications and experience, geographic location, internal equity, company policy and practices. Approach to Flexibility

While some members choose to work out of their local office on a full‑time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or gible roles can also offer a compressed workweek schedule.

Members who participate will be assigned a 9/80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday off!
