Compensation: $75k - $95k Base Salary + Discretionary Bonus
About the OpportunityKorn Ferry is assisting a Global Building Materials Manufacturer hiring for a position that supports regional sales efforts by providing technical expertise focused on concrete and cement performance in production and field applications. The role acts as a technical bridge between customers and commercial teams, helping ensure materials are applied effectively, issues are addressed early, and customer confidence is maintained.
Success in this role comes from credibility in the field, sound technical judgment, and the ability to support sales conversations without carrying a direct revenue target.
Key Responsibilities- Support sales teams with technical input related to concrete and cement performance
- Engage directly with customers at plants and jobsites to assess production and placement conditions
- Assist with mix adjustments, material selection, and performance evaluations
- Provide on-site troubleshooting support for variability, workability, strength development, and durability concerns
- Participate in trials, demonstrations, and pre-project planning activities
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate with quality, operations, and logistics teams to align technical recommendations with operational realities
- Hands-on experience with cement & concrete performance (mix designs, durability, workability, ASTM/DOT specs)
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I Certified
- Spanish language capability is advantageous
- Meaningful scope and visibility, operate close to customers and operations, with the authority to influence technical decisions and commercial outcomes
