Job Description
As a Lead Engineering Technician at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Military Avionics business unit in Phoenix, Arizona. You will lead a team of technicians and provide technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of engineering processes and systems. Your leadership and technical skills will contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our business.
You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and work on‑site in Phoenix.
- Provide technical guidance and support.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of engineering processes.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to ensure the quality and efficiency of engineering processes.
- Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices.
- Meet project deadlines and deliver high‑quality results.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Engineering Technician or a related role.
- Strong technical skills in mechanical systems and components.
- Experience leading a team of technicians.
- Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
