Position SummaryThe Industrial Engineer will lead industrial innovation projects for the Goodyear Modular Data Center facility. These projects will be focused on plant productivity, efficiency, quality, logistics, continuous improvement and safety. This role is critical in driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction in a fast‑paced, engineer‑to‑order and design build environment.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and manage the technical function for a specific product range or multiple technical sub‑functions
- Inform general management about technical problems, particularly regarding industrial and technological modifications
- Perform all hierarchical management activities to organize/manage the technical function and communicate technical issues
- Optimize the efficiency, productivity, and reliability of an organization's operational processes and equipment.
- Involve overseeing the development and implementation of methods, procedures, and maintenance strategies to ensure that resources are utilized effectively, and that equipment and facilities are well‑maintained.
- Lean Mfg techniques

- Digital Transformation
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to successfully lead teams through challenge projects.
- Ability to collaborate and/or influence to achieve challenging results
- Demonstrate SE core values in everything you do.
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 4+ years of Industrial Engineering experience in an automated industrial environment
- Experience in time‑motion studies and standard work
- Hands on experience with Lean concepts (VSM, SMED, 8 waste, Takt Times, Cellular Mfg, Pokey Yoke)
- Strong problem‑solving skills
- Autocad / CREO / PDM efficiency
