An established engineering firm is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with 4–10 years of experience to join its Phoenix office. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer who is passionate about structural design and interested in working on a diverse range of project types across multiple market sectors.
The selected candidate will work closely with senior leadership while contributing to projects from initial design through construction completion.
Key Responsibilities- Design and analyze structural systems including concrete, steel, wood, and masonry structures.
- Work on projects ranging from small-scale to large, multidisciplinary developments.
- Oversee projects from concept through construction completion.
- Coordinate and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate directly with senior engineers on day-to-day project activities.
- Communicate with clients, city/public officials, and project stakeholders.
- Participate in design coordination and problem-solving throughout the construction process.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- 4–10 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
- Experience designing commercial and industrial buildings.
- Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA, RAM, ENERCALC
, or similar tools. - Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit
