- Instrument motorcycles with data loggers and sensors (strain, acceleration, force, voltage, current, etc.).
- Use test hardware and software including Somat eDaq, ETAS INCA, nCode Glyphworks, Aptiv, and similar engineering tools.
- Support engineering activities such as driveability reviews, suspension development, data acquisition, and infotainment evaluation.
- Maintain relationships with offsite mileage‑accumulation vendors, including defining routes, use cases, and providing ongoing support.
- Coordinate and support test activities at local automotive proving grounds.
- Plan, oversee, and execute onsite tests, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting.
- Assist project teams with product issue identification and resolution.
- Improve existing test procedures, develop new ones, and train/mentor team members.
- Coordinate shop activity, including facility management, visitor support, and incoming test requests.
- Manage onsite vehicles by performing and coordinating service, maintenance, updates, and repairs.
- Maintain a strong safety focus in all activities.
- Travel up to 15%.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
- Strong technical analysis and critical thinking skills required.

- Advanced motorcycle riding ability and formal training desired.
- Minimum of 2 years automotive or powersports calibration/ validation/ development experience preferred.
- Hands‑on experience with motorcycle systems including suspension, braking, electrical, chassis/structural components, intake and exhaust systems, and engine calibration.
- Comfortable performing mechanical work and conducting on‑bike testing and teardown.
- High mechanical aptitude with the ability to work across a wide variety of motorcycle systems.
- Self‑motivated and able to work with minimal oversight.
- Experience with data acquisition, signal processing, and calibration methodology desired.
- Detail‑oriented, quality‑focused, and committed to timely execution.
- Experience conducting tests at automotive proving grounds preferred.
