Job Details
Sustains engineering support for chemical and gas system operations, maintenance and ownership of system capacity versus demand, and system troubleshooting.
Utilizes knowledge of chemical compatibility of materials for process fluids and gases, high purity gases, process control statistical analysis (PCSA), and materials of construction needed for chemical and gas systems to meet semiconductor purity requirements.
Manages code and compliance issues related to chemical and gas systems and associated infrastructure and develops and maintains standard operating procedures for respective systems.
Collaborates with other engineering disciplines, management, internal customers, and suppliers to ensure projects and systems are cost effective, within budget, meet the desired design criteria and schedule requirements. Conducts the engineering analysis, design, and installation oversight of distribution systems for chemicals and gas equipment and systems.
Writes scopes of work and bid requests for proposals and oversees projects to meet design criteria, scope, budget, and schedule and reviews construction management documentation such as submittals and requests for information.
Directs and executes project commissioning to ensure all chemical and gas systems equipment, components, and infrastructure perform as designed.
Creates and communicates project documentation including sequence of operations, installation procedures, and checklists for commissioning and startup.
In this position, you will be working in the Intel Advanced Packaging Technology Manufacturing Facilities Organization.
A Chandler BCD/Gas engineer:
Defines, plans and executes project roadmaps to achieve the group's strategic objectives, goals and milestones for new technology development.
Defines and establishes process flow, procedures, and equipment configuration for the module.
Selects and develops material and equipment for the process to meet quality, reliability, cost, yield, productivity and manufacturability requirements.
Drives improvements on quality, reliability, cost, process stability/capability, productivity and operational safety.
Develops and implements solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem solving tools.
Establishes process control systems for the process module and sustains the module through various technology development efforts.
Develops strategy using structured problem solving techniques to resolve difficult problems and establishes systems to deal with these problems in the future.
Candidate should have knowledge of typical Intel standard equipment design and construction standards, equipment startup / commissioning, and documentation to deliver reliable equipment aligned to historically successful business practices.

Note:
This role requires regular onsite presence to fulfill essential job responsibilities.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent Engineering field with 5+ yrs relevant experience
-OR- Masters degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent Engineering field with 2+ yrs relevant experience
-OR- PhD degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent Engineering field with 1+ yrs relevant experience
Experience must include any the following:
Chemical Delivery Systems
Bulk Chemical Systems
Gas Delivery Systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands on experience working with process equipment
Previous related work experience in a semiconductor foundry preferred or related field
