Role Overview

BEPC Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Principal Systems Engineer to support our client in the aerospace industry. This role is responsible for leading the design, development, and integration of aircraft systems in compliance with aerospace safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate brings extensive systems engineering expertise and a deep understanding of ARP
4754

, with proven experience driving full lifecycle system development—from requirements definition through verification and validation. This is a high-impact opportunity to work on advanced aircraft systems within a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of aircraft systems in accordance with ARP
    4754 and applicable aerospace regulatory standards.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive System Development Plans (SDPs).
  • Define, analyze, and manage system-level requirements, ensuring traceability throughout the lifecycle.
  • Oversee system verification and validation (V&V) activities to ensure compliance and performance objectives are achieved.
  • Coordinate cross-functional integration efforts across engineering disciplines including hardware, software, safety, and certification teams.
  • Support safety assessments and ensure alignment with aerospace compliance frameworks.
  • Drive technical reviews, risk assessments, and design assurance activities.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship within systems engineering teams.
Qualifications

Required:
  • Extensive experience in systems engineering within the aerospace or aviation industry.
  • Strong working knowledge and applied experience with ARP
    4754
    guidelines and system development processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in requirements development, analysis, and management tools.
  • Experience leading system verification and validation efforts.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional engineering integrations.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace safety, certification, and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred
  • Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools.
  • Familiarity with FAA certification processes and safety assessment methodologies.
  • Background in aircraft system architecture development.
  • Duration: 12 Months

  • Location: Phoenix, AZ 85027 (Onsite)
  • Pay Rate: $140–$150/hour
  • Potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
