CADD Technician

We are currently seeking resumes from qualified, responsible, self-sufficient, energetic CADD Technician’s for our Phoenix, Arizona office. This position requires an experienced drafter/CADD operator to perform technical drafting support for assigned Solar projects. The ideal candidate will have solid skills in planning, scheduling, organization, and problem-solving. They will also have a strong client service attitude, a self-motivated approach, and an ability to manage a variety of tasks in a high-quality manner within a dynamic team environment.

This position performs a full range of professional electrical drafting assignments in a full-functioning capacity as part of the Electrical Group. Considerable independent judgment is required to carry out assignments that have a significant impact on services or programs. At the direction of the Electrical Group Manager, this position is responsible for the following:

• Ensuring the completion of work based on project schedules.
• CAD drafting of single-line diagrams, layouts, and construction details.
• Estimating quantities and other miscellaneous tasks.
• Duties may also include marketing support on graphics or text related to upcoming projects.
• Performing work as assigned from sketches, verbal instructions, and notes.
• Establish and maintain schedules and offer progress reports on work performed.
• Maintain current knowledge of drafting procedures in electrical engineering for multiple clients.

• Minimum Education:
  
  High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years of related CAD experience in a civil/electrical engineering or related industry
• Experience with AutoCAD standard drafting techniques, terminology, and applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Civil 3D and Bluebeam is a plus.
