3D Modeler - Heavy Civil

We are looking for an experienced 3D Modeler with heavy civil construction experience to join our client in Phoenix, AZ. Our client is a well-established, cutting-edge, civil construction contractor looking for a 3D Modeler who loves earthwork, site concrete, foundations, and everything else there is about heavy civil construction!

• Base Salary $80K-$100K, DOE

• Create, update, and maintain 3D models for civil construction projects using Civil 3D
  .
• Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, project managers, and designers, to interpret design specifications and translate them into precise 3D models.
• Utilize AutoCAD to develop detailed engineering drawings and documentation as required.
• Work with Bluebeam for design review, markups, and project coordination.
• Integrate models with Overland for earthworks, grading, and terrain modeling.
• Ensure models comply with project specifications, industry standards, and company requirements.
• Assist in creating visual simulations and presentations for internal and client use.
• Provide technical support and expertise to project teams related to 3D modeling and design workflows.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of models.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest software tools and industry trends in 3D modeling and civil engineering.

• Proficiency in Civil 3D
  , Bluebeam
  , AutoCAD
  , and Overland is a bonus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent work experience will be considered.
• 3+ years of experience in 3D modeling within the civil engineering or construction industry.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
