This position is responsible for creating or updating of 3-D models and assemblies using Revit or Plant 3D software, generating 2-D vendor documentation and BOMs, and managing version control and document filing.

The CAD Technician reports to the Vice President.

Interfaces with team members to independently create or update Engineer drawings, 3-D models and assemblies using Revit or Plant 3D, including mechanical systems piping and piping supports, skids, fluid distribution loops and connections, comprised of pumps, valves, filters, instrumentation, high‑purity piping, etc.

Generates or updates 2-D production drawings and BOMs.

Manages document versioning and filing into the company's systems.

Collaborates with the project team throughout the design and construction process.

Applies basic knowledge of commonly used engineering concepts, practices, codes, and procedures.

Assists with client presentations and fabrication drawing review.

Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

Upholds and adheres to the Organo culture and Guiding Principles.

Exhibits positivity and flexibility when assigned a new task or project.

Minimum education is a high‑school diploma or equivalent.

A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in creating CAD models and 2D vendor drawings of fluid handling systems for industrial plants, such as water treatment plants, chemical plants, beverage plants, oil refineries or semiconductor fabs.

Demonstrated proficiency in 2D CAD (AUTO CAD) and 3D CAD modeling software (Revit or Plant3D).

Ability to understand PnIDs.

Demonstrated computer literacy.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Must be able to stoop, squat, bend, and twist.
