The Regional Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist is responsible for implementing company and client safety programs to ensure compliance with the organization’s safety vision, principles, and strategies. This role focuses on conducting regular visits to jobsites to perform safety audits, enforce policies, procedures, and practices, and assist in incident investigations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. The Regional EHS Coordinator will collaborate closely with field technicians, project managers, and senior leadership to drive consistent communication, accountability, and measurable safety outcomes.

Duties/Responsibilities Regional Policy Development and Compliance- Conduct field-based safety inspections and audits at company facilities and job sites, ensuring strict adherence to company, client, and regulatory standards, including OSHA, NFPA 70E, and other applicable regulations.
- Lead on‑site safety initiatives, driving accountability, continuous improvement, and risk awareness by engaging directly with field teams and front‑line supervisors to address safety concerns and implement immediate corrective actions.
- Perform hands‑on fleet safety management, including conducting vehicle compliance checks, inspections, and maintenance oversight to ensure operational safety.
- Administer proactive training and safety equipment programs on‑site and off‑site, delivering hands‑on training to field personnel and verifying compliance with internal protocols and regulatory standards.
- Assisting on updating Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and other regulatory documentation, ensuring accessibility for field teams and timely compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
- Champion company’s EHS vision by driving strategies that foster leadership accountability and employee ownership of safety.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities through lessons learned, benchmarking, and industry advancements.
- Deliver effective training for Operations field staff and management to strengthen awareness of safety requirements and best practices.
- Assist with accurate tracking and maintenance of employee training certifications and compliance records.
- Lead and support investigations of incidents, injuries, vehicle accidents and near misses to identify root causes and establish corrective actions.
