As an Advanced Electrical Engineer at Honeywell, you will lead the design and development of advanced electrical systems and components, focusing on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). You will work within a cross‑functional team to ensure all electronic products meet EMC requirements, conduct feasibility studies, support qualification test campaigns, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of advanced electrical systems and components with a focus on EMC.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure all aspects of electronic products meet EMC requirements, including mechanical packaging, electrical design, board layout, interconnect/grounding strategies, and signal integrity.
- Perform EMC analysis to aid electrical and mechanical designers to meet or exceed requirements and resolve issues as needed.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance EMC design processes and efficiency.
- Support EMC qualification test campaigns and root‑cause investigations.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics design.
- Proficiency in EMC analysis, filtering, and board‑level design.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic understanding, but not necessarily mastery, of power supply, analog, digital, data bus, and RF circuits.
- Knowledge of RTCA DO‑160, Boeing D6, Airbus ABD, MIL‑STD 461, and MIL‑STD 810 design and compliance documents.
- Experience in EMC simulation and modeling tools (e.g., LTSpice, Mathcad, EMA3D).
- Proficiency with Siemens Xpedition Design Flow, Mathcad, Timing Designer, MS Excel, and LTSpice.
- Knowledgeable in project estimation, planning, and cost and schedule management.
- Ability to effectively mentor junior engineers.
