Key Responsibilities- Lead thin film/coating development and design process DOEs to meet coating and material property requirements.
- Lead thin film/coating and material characterizations.
- Responsible for thin film/coating defect control.
- Work with various teams to resolve quality problems and incidents, drive root cause analysis and corrective actions, and identify and implement broad‑based systemic supplier resolutions at the process level.
- Regarded as the technical expert in the following technical areas:
- Materials science, chemistry and various coating processes, such as thermal CVD.
- Fabrication and manufacturing of coated semiconductor components.
- Modeling for thermal and gas flow.
- Material analysis and characterization, surface analysis of films and coatings.
- Failure analysis for structural integrity of coating‑related components.
- Demonstrates in‑depth or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function.
- May lead projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
- Lead others to solve complex problems, using sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.
- Use various problem‑solving methodologies, such as 8D, Six Sigma, etc.
Master's Degree required (Ph.D. preferred) in Materials science, Chemistry, or Physics.
Experience3–5 years of relevant experience.
