Responsibilities- Design, build, test, and troubleshoot analog and mixed‑signal circuits, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Develop low noise analog circuit designs for stabilizing lasers and to lock multiple lasers to meet high precision requirements.
- Utilize simulation tools (such as P‑Spice) for robust circuit design and analysis.
- Develop and implement phase‑locked loop designs.
- Collaborate with optical and mechanical design teams, providing hardware insights to complement multidisciplinary efforts.
- Prepare and deliver technical briefings to stakeholders, communicating complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Design experience with low noise and high‑accuracy circuitry is of value.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- Strong understanding of a variety of hardware engineering principles, methodologies and specifications.
- Minimum of 5‑6+ years of experience in Electrical/Hardware Engineering and Design.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools (P‑Spice, Mentor Graphics, etc.).
- Experienced in the analysis and design of high accuracy analog electronics circuits.
- Experience in new product development, early phase and/or R&D projects is of value.
- Ability to take a design through build and checkout in the laboratory using a variety of test equipment: lock‑in amplifiers, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Experience with optical sensors and systems containing lasers and resonance servo loops is of value.
- Inertial sensing and navigation domain knowledge is of value.
- Proactive problem identification and resolution.
- Positive, solution‑oriented leadership.
- Proven track record of successfully leading technically complex development projects to production.
