Worldwide Professional Solutions is seeking a highly skilled, experienced and motivated Project Manager for Tool Install to join our growing team in the Northwest Phoenix, Arizona area on a large-scale manufacturing construction project. We are looking for PMs for all functional areas: LITHO, IN PLANTERS, DIFFUSION, PLANAR, THIN FILMS, DRY ETCH, WET ETCH.
Successful candidates will have demonstrated construction project management success with direct experience working with a mechanical contractor and must be self‑motivated, technically skilled, highly organized, clearly communicate, and have a proven ability to work in a fast‑paced dynamic environment. Candidates’ work history must represent increased levels of responsibility on a progressive basis throughout their career.
Semiconductor experience is a plus. Relocation preferred with packages available; limited per‑diem/travel packages available.
- Perform all activities safely and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
- Work directly with the client to ensure their program needs are met.
- Manage project team, including trade partners, to meet requirements and deliverables while maintaining safety and quality values.
- Review pricing for designed scope and change orders with design and trade partners to ensure scope is adequately covered.
- Monitor the financial status of the project through various metrics on a regular basis.
- Lead and pursue continuous improvement initiatives and actions to aid in achieving project objectives.
- Prepare project reports and documentation, communicating with Facilities Engineering, Design team, and client management.
- Collaborate with team and other interested parties to ensure project schedules are established, maintained, and aligned with owner expectations.
- Maintain a good working relationship with trade labor and demonstrate leadership in driving productive improvements.
- Previous experience of 5+ years working directly with a mechanical contractor as a PM or PE.
- 5 to 10 years of large‑project construction management experience with strong results in meeting deadlines and cost requirements.
- Semiconductor experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of CPM scheduling in the construction environment.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to work well with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction standards, practices, techniques, and technology.
- Extensive knowledge of job cost accounting.
- Experience with project estimating and negotiating project changes.
- Ability to interpret construction contracts, plans, and specifications.
- Proficiency with tools: PM Web, Primavera, Excel, Word.
- Preferred B.S. Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
