The New Product Introduction Systems (NPI Systems) team within Intel Foundry Automation (IFA) is seeking a talented Software Applications Development Engineer to develop comprehensive full-stack software solutions that drive our manufacturing excellence.

What You'll Do
* Develop automation applications for new product introduction workflows, execution readiness, build logistics, and Design of Experiments (DOE) planning

* Responsibilities include complete software project lifecycle spanning requirements analysis, design, development, testing and support for automation applications

* Collaborate with Assembly Test Technology Development (ATTD) and Logic Technology Development (LTD) teams across TD and High-Volume manufacturing facilities

* Analyze stakeholder requirements to identify key challenges and design optimal application/system solutions

* Build robust, high-performance applications that meet current and forecasted business needs

* Develop and execute comprehensive automated testing suites to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance

* Provide expert-level technical support to TD factories and process engineers Key Skills & Behaviors

Qualifications:

The Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research. The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications
* U.S. Citizenship required

* Ability to obtain and maintain US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access.

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or in a STEM related field

* 2+ years of object-oriented software design and development experience

* Experience with Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET Framework) and Angular/ Type Script

* Experienced in Agile and Scrum Processes

* Experience with database development in PL/SQL (Oracle) and/or TSQL (Microsoft SQL Server)

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with writing WPF (Window Presentation Foundation) and WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) Services

* Experience with Designing multi-tiered and integrated software systems

* Software project management experience covering overall software development life cycle and familiarity with Agile/SCRUM practices
