What You’ll Do (Your Impact)In this role, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring avionics hardware meets strict regulatory, environmental, and performance standards. Your work will directly support certification readiness and the delivery of safe, reliable systems used in business aviation.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities- Plan and execute environmental and EMI qualification testing for avionics hardware
- Perform Verification & Validation (V&V) testing of electronic systems
- Prepare and maintain clear, compliant test reports for regulatory and customer review
- Support certification activities with aviation authorities (e.g., FAA)
- Identify and communicate non‑compliance issues to engineering and program stakeholders
- Operate and interpret data from laboratory test equipment and engineering tools
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure products meet qualification standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 6+ years of experience in Hardware or Product Engineering
- Proven experience with environmental and/or EMI testing for avionics qualification
- Working knowledge of DO‑160 testing
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with DO‑160, MIL‑STD‑461, MIL‑STD‑810
- Experience with hardware verification testing
- Knowledge of electronic display principles
- Hands‑on experience with optical testing or display characterization instrumentation
- Understanding of hardware engineering standards and specifications
- High‑visibility aerospace programs that make a real-world impact

Pay Details: $65.00 per hour
