Job Description
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Deer Valley, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact by shaping the future of Honeywell Aerospace as a global technology leader, driving innovation, and delivering high-quality products that improve the quality of life for people around the world.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive the hardware design process, from concept to production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications.
- Design and develop complex hardware systems, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Perform hardware testing and validation to ensure product performance and reliability.
- Support products from concept to certification, in the factory, in the field, until end of life.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

- 10+ years of experience in hardware design and development.
- Strong knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
- Experience with hardware Validation and Verification.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with DO-160 and DO-254.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in hardware design and development.
- Proven track record of successful hardware design projects.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
