This role could be to serve as a local practice lead, commensurate to experience and skills.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Lead/manage design for intersections, traffic signals, roadway lighting, signing, pavement marking, traffic management systems, and ITS systems.
Develop maintenance of traffic (MOT) and sequencing plans.
Assist with technical traffic analyses for highways, streets, and multi-modal facilities.
Assist with traffic safety analyses, including Road Safety Audits (RSAs), and identification and design of proposed safety countermeasures.
Implement client and internal QA/QC procedures
Assist in developing proposals and marketing strategies.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative work environment.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000+, depending on experience.
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Arizona or ability to obtain licensure within three months.
Certification as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) and/or a Road Safety Professional (RSP) Levels 1 or 2 is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years in traffic engineering and design.
Experience working with relevant industry standards and guidelines, such as MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices) and AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) standards.
Proficiency using CAD (Micro Station/AutoCAD), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and/or traffic simulation software (e.g., Synchro, VISSIM),
