Hardware Engineer, Electronics Engineer
As a Hardware Engineer at Honeywell, you will support the hardware design process from concept to production. You will work closely with senior engineers to define hardware requirements and specifications, assist in the design of hardware systems including schematic capture and PCB layout, and perform hardware testing and validation to ensure product performance and reliability.
Your role will also involve staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and contributing to the overall success of hardware design projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design and development of hardware systems including schematic capture and PCB layout
- Support hardware testing and validation to ensure product performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications
- Provide support in troubleshooting hardware issues and implementing solutions
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to contribute to continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 0‑2 years of experience in hardware design and development or related internships/co‑op experience
- Basic knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence
- Understanding of hardware testing and validation processes
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Internship or project experience in hardware design and development
- Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design
- Experience with microcontroller or FPGA‑based designs
- Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment
The annual base salary range for this position is 71,600.00 – 89,300.00. This is a general guideline;
