Job Overview

As a Facilities Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Intel's buildings and infrastructure operate seamlessly, supporting our mission to deliver world‑class technology solutions. You will lead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities
  • Provide facilities engineering support to factory customers in support of Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental, and Cost objectives.
  • Own safety within area of influence.
  • Ensure systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing/facility or environmental excursions; own system documentation and maintenance strategy.
  • Provide direct support of troubleshooting efforts for new and existing systems, including end‑of‑life systems.
  • Develop industrial instrumentation and automation systems required for maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and programming of existing analytical instrumentation for labs, manufacturing, and facility systems.
  • Design and develop new control systems, test and maintain and modify existing systems.
  • Maintain continuous upkeep of industrial automation systems.
  • Analyze data and present findings in written reports, providing advice and consultancy support.
  • Manage projects within cost and time constraints and manage day‑to‑day operations associated with instrumentation and controls.
  • Assist in purchasing equipment, writing computer software and test procedures.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root‑cause failure analysis, develop engineering solutions to address and rectify issues, and manage long‑term equipment improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Systems and Controls, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar engineering discipline with 2+ years of experience.
  • Master’s degree in the same disciplines with 1+ year of experience.
  • Experience with industrial automation platforms such as GE Cimplicity or Rockwell Automation Control Logix PLC products used in Facility Automation Systems (PLC and SCADA).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading facility expansion or layout design projects.
  • Proven problem‑solving skills and ability to optimize operational systems.
  • Experience coordinating and overseeing contractor work to ensure quality and compliance.
Additional Information

Work Model:
This role will require an on‑site presence.

Compensation:
This position is covered by a compensation range of $52,000.00 to $ for U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and other relevant factors.
