Estimator​/Process Engineer

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Estimator / Process Engineer role in Phoenix, AZ. • Develop accurate cost estimates for manufacturing projects, including materials, labor, and production timelines.
• Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to determine project scope and feasibility.
• Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and deliverables.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements using lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Monitor production performance and recommend adjustments to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Support new product introductions by developing process flows, work instructions, and cost models.
• Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and project updates for internal stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field) preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in estimating, process engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using estimating or ERP software.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

• Competitive salary range of $80,000 – $125,000 annually, depending on experience.
