Accodis is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a 6+ months Contract position with a client located in Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range$50/hr - $59/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Job Description- Key Responsibilities
Imagine, design and develop products and systems as part of a highly engaged and integrated engineering team.
You will collaborate across Honeywell Aerospace engineering teams to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
You will participate in all phases of product development.
Refine your engineering talents in a team-based culture by working with innovative products and technologies.
Collaborate in world-class project teams to establish effective solutions to complex engineering problems.
Improve the world by working on teams that develop modern solutions to complex problems. Design engineering using CAD based modeling.
Engineering analysis and weight optimization.
Design for Manufacturing and cost estimation.
Product presentation & Voice of Customer.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
6+ years of mechanical design and engineering experience with NX and Teamcenter.
Experience in engine or APU design.
Proven application of ASME Y14.5 drawing standards including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), both in generating drawings and checking drawings generated by others.
