Job OverviewAs an Embedded Digital Hardware Engineer you will develop and implement embedded digital hardware solutions that enhance the performance of next‑generation Inertial Sensors and Resonator Fiber Optic Gyroscopes (RFOGs). You will work on new product development and R&D programs, providing ongoing support and enhancements for existing products.
Responsibilities- Digital hardware systems design, development, testing and integration.
- Develop and integrate embedded hardware & software solutions, ensuring compatibility with Inertial sensors and RFOG technologies.
- Design and optimize FPGAs using VHDL.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in systems, software, and hardware engineering.
- Test and validate systems to meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware‑related issues throughout design and production phases.
- Document design specifications, testing protocols, and results.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in embedded systems and FPGA technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in embedded systems and digital hardware design and development.
- Knowledge of hardware design, schematics, and circuit design principles.
- Experience in the design, development, and integration of digital hardware solutions.
- Proficiency in hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog, System Verilog).
- Experience with VHDL for FPGA solutions.
- Experience in New Product Development, Early Phase and/or R&D projects.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze complex systems.
- Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.).
- Familiarity with inertial sensors, gyroscopes, or related navigation and sensing technologies.
