Sr Advanced Systems Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will design, integrate, and verify aircraft state and systems monitoring applications for next-generation avionics platforms.

Rate Range: $57/hour to $61/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr Advanced Systems Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, integrate, and verify aircraft state and systems monitoring applications for next-generation avionics platforms.
• Develop and validate system and software requirements to ensure safety-critical compliance.
• Apply model-based system design using tools such as Simulink to support system development and verification.
• Develop and integrate ARINC 661 graphical synoptics using tools like Scade.
• Integrate aircraft sensors and subsystems (navigation, air data, flaps, landing gear, FADEC, cabin pressure).
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support system integration, testing, and certification.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
• 4-8 years of experience in avionics systems or software engineering.
• Strong experience in systems/software requirements development, integration, and verification, including model-based design (Simulink) or ARINC 661 graphics (Scade).
• Proven experience integrating aircraft sensors and systems such as navigation, air data, flight controls, or engine interfaces.

Pay Details: $57.00 to $61.00 per hour
